| August 22, 2007 | | Fed rate cut could help emerging market currencies | Some emerging market currencies, such as the South African rand, are up slightly in forex trading on the currency market this morning. Emerging market currencies and forex trading strategy require that one look at the risk environment. Also, with the Fed considering a rate cut, it could mean support for emerging market currencies on teh FX market. Bloomberg reports:
``Emerging markets are generally a bit better today,'' said
Caroline Gorman, an analyst at Augustus Asset Managers Ltd. in
London. It could ``snap'' its recent decline ``if sentiment
improves.'' | Topic Tags: currency market, emerging market currencies, emerging market currencies forex trading, Fed rate cut, forex trading, forex trading strategy, FX market, South African rand forex trading | |
