| November 14, 2007 | | Equity market recoveries boost high yielders in currency trading | High yielders like the Australian dollar are up in forex trading today as strong equity markets help reduce some of the risk aversion being seen on the currency market. Yielders are nudging upward as the carry trade resumes in currency trading. Reuters reports on high yielders in forex trading:
"It's all coming from a very strong recovery in U.S. equity
markets, the same in Asia, and then European equity markets
opening higher this morning... So high yielders are coming back
a little," said Niels Christensen, FX strategist at Nordea. | Topic Tags: currency market, currency trading, equity markets, forex trading, high yielders currency trading, high yielders forex trading, risk aversion | |
