One of the ways that you can develop a forex trading strategy is to look at the fundamentals underlying a currency. Fundamental analysis forces you to take a look at the big picture, rather than relying solely on technical charts. Here are some of the factors to consider in fundamental analysis:
  • Political change in the country
  • Interest rates
  • Economic data
  • Trade deficits
  • Export numbers
  • Commodities prices (for commodity currencies)
