The Canadian dollar is down against the U.S. dollar on the FX market on economic concerns. The sterling is also struggling in currency trading against the dollar. The euro traded at $1.4623, up from $1.4593 late Wednesday in New York. Other
dollar rates compared with late rates Wednesday in New York included:
105.75 Japanese yen, down from 106.44; 1.0913 Swiss francs, down from
