Emerging market currencies are those based in countries whose economies are just developing and entering the global marketplace. Many of the popular traded emerging market currencies are located mainly in South America and Asia. Emerging market currencies offer some interesting opportunities for making money.
However, it is important to keep in mind that emerging market currencies are very volatile, and losses can be as common as gains.
