|  | | May 14, 2008 | | UK pound continues to struggle in forex trading | The UK pound was struggling in forex trading on the currency market yesterday. Not much has changed today. Even after the Bank of England released its inflation report, the sterling continues to have issues in currency trading.
Even though higher inflation would normally be a sign of a quickening economy, this is not the case in Britain. Instead, the British economy is slowing even with the inflation. The sterling even led the euro lower against the dollar in currency trading.
