Emerging market Asian currencies are struggling in forex trading right now. Asian currencies are feeling the pinch from oil prices that continue to rise and slow economic growth.
``Inflation is definitely weighing on the economic outlook
not just in the first quarter but for the rest of the year,''
said Vishnu Varathan, a regional economist at Forecast Singapore
Pte. ``That's adding to the peso's weakness.''
The South Korean won, Indonesian rupiah and Malaysian ringgit are also having trouble in currency trading on the FX market.
