Euro in FX trading on the currency market

The euro is expected to continue to struggle in FX trading on the currency market in the coming weeks. Thanks to the fact that the economy is slowing (as shown by the German Ifo) and other factors, the euro is on the backfoot a bit in currency trading. Bloomberg offers some insight into the forex trading forecast for the euro:

``The deceleration in the euro-area economy will continue to be felt and that leaves the ECB with a problem,'' said Jeremy Stretch, a senior currency strategist in London at Rabobank International, the third-largest Dutch bank. ``The euro will be trading lower in the medium term.''
