| October 07, 2008 | | U.S. dollar drops in currency trading on latest liquidity move | There is an expectation that the Fed will cut rates, and that, along with the plan by the Fed to buy up "commercial paper,"
is causing the U.S. dollar to drop in currency trading. This is an
opportunity for the euro to make up some of the ground it has ceded
recently in forex trading. And the euro is trying to do just that.
However, if the current efforts by the U.S. government work, it is possible that the euro's current moves
will amount to little more than consolidation. With things as volatile
as they are, it is anyone's guess as to what could happen next. | Topic Tags: commercial paper, currency trading, euro forex trading, Fed cut rates, forex trading, U.S. dollar currency trading | |
