The Roots of the Global Financial Crisis

A simple explanation of how we got to where we are today
Many people have been wondering how we got to this point of global financial crisis. I really like this explanation (I admit it: I like the the smiley faces). It does leave some of the factors out (deregulation, derivatives and credit default swaps and the like), but the basics are sound.

And, of course, because so much of the world relies on the U.S. economy, and so many other banks were invested in some of our bad assets, the whole thing spread...
