Kathy Lien's visit to Sydney last week, yielded some great interviews, including this one

After meeting with the Herald Sun, she had this to say about interest rates

"The (US) Federal Reserve is a currency laggard running well behind its peers while your Reserve Bank is much more hawkish."

Kathy doesn't see any chance of a US rate rise this year and predicts it will be well into 2010 before there is enough evidence that unemployment has peaked around 9.5 to 10 per cent and is falling before the Federal Reserve would risk a rate rise.
